Recommendations for HACCP decision making
Hello,
I am having to build a decision making per FSIS recommendations. I pretty much had an fsis inspector challenge my haccp and cited my decision tree as not being sufficient to meet haccp compliance.
Does anyone have examples of decision making that includes metal detection? I am having issues putting together a template when including my ccp for metal deteciton.

Hi Jamming,
it's a little unclear as to your specific question(s).
Why did the fsis inspector criticise your decision tree as being insufficient ?
Are you asking as to (a) how to justify a metal detector is a CCP in traditional, eg Codex/NACMCF, haccp and (b) how do people set a Critical Limit for a Metal Detector CCP ?
Are you talking about the CCP decision making tree on documenting how it is determined if a step should be a CCP or not or are you talking about something else?
Not sure if this is what you are looking for but - to justify our HACCP plans - these are the resources I used and cited/used as a decision tree. Not sure if any of these have a metal detector as an example.
