Drinking Water analysis and tracing

Hi everyone!

I want to know did chemical nautre of ground water from one source changes with time from one specific area.? More specifically like in a year do arsenic , Nitrgoen & Flouride levels in water varry? How can we trace water by area.?

Looking forward for some details.

It depends on many things, even parameters. Some may not vary so much, like arsenic, and others may vary a lot (eg nitrogen). A simple example of this is if the source is near farmlands, then there is a chance excess nitrogen from bad fertilization practices may go through the ground to the water body.

The water source should be made known to you from your service provider, but depending on your location and the availability there is a chance that it comes from more than one sources, so it is difficult to trace them all.

That's why you perform an analysis of the water in your facilities (at least once a year) for microbiological and chemical parameters. Most countries describe the parameters that need to be checked in their legislation for the water quality.
