Note that the introductory Guidance material on EMPG with respect to drains is, as stated, potentially contrary to FSIS.
So we need to check the microbial near the drains (environment monitoring for zone non-food contact), using air sampler? for monitoring Listeria spp.?
*CMIIW
and i want to ask, what if we only mention in our program, like only the area, for example = monitoring in filling area from EC and YM, monthly.
not mention the position of the area that we monitoring, like near the drain, or the table, or on the pipe.
The way we do it where I work is that we have a list of places and equipment to swab with a photo showing the location or piece of equipment and the frequency of sampling. That way there is nothing left out and nothing is left open to interpretation but it is a very clear procedure.
Can you share of risk assesment environmental monitoring do you have to me?
or just share the table without their content
Thanks

Hi RUP,
The EMPG specifics often relate to the Product/Process.
Can try browsing through these varied scenarios -
Based on this guidance (attached), we should define areas or zones of risk related to the different hazards.
Is this a mandatory? or we can just only define by hygienic zoning.
Thanks
Sorry, herewith i attached

Hi RUP,
It typically depends on the exact text in the Standard (not the Guidance). ie If there is no specific requirement for "zones" in the Standard the requirements are open to alternative "interpretations". Of course, it is necessary to be auditorially prepared to justify that your interpretation fulfils the Standard's requirements.
ohh i think i got it.
Thanks All for your help
