Hello,

Do you still list vanilla parenthetical ingredients when the vanilla extract is a sub-ingredient?

Example of chocolate chips made with vanilla extract as an ingredient in a trail mix:

Organic Raisins (organic raisins, organic high oleic sunflower oil), Organic Roasted Peanuts, Organic Dark Chocolate (organic cane sugar, organic chocolate liquor, organic cocoa butter, organic soy lecithin [emulsifier], organic vanilla extract), Organic Almonds, and Organic Walnuts.

Thank you,

Steph

I would list them.    EX -  Organic Vanilla Extract (Vanilla bean extractives in water, Organic alcohol, etc).  Or, Organic vanilla extract (water, organic alcohol, organic vanilla bean extractives, etc)

It will save you a 1000 questions on "what is the extract made of"   "does it have the beaver gland vanilla?   lol.   maybe not though.

in not sure there is an "out" for just listing it is "organic vanilla extract"
