Question for all UK based labs.

Are you having difficultly with lead times when ordering Sodium hydroxide.

We use it at 32% & 50% , with 32% in larger volumes.

when ordering its gone from 2 weeks delivery to now 8-16 weeks for delivery.

At present I am  stuck for 32% and 50% but all suppliers i have looked at are quoting December delivery

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Thanks

I can't give any insight to your UK ordering issue, but is it possible for you to make your NaOH solution from dried tablets? Just wondering if these tablets have shorter lead times compared to pre-mixed solution.
