Help to calculate thickness of coating layer

Hello, I'm struggling with the question below and would like to hear is anyone knows how to solve it or at least give me a few tips in the rigtht direction? Thanks for the help!

Calculate the thickness of the coeating layer when a rectangular cube shape cake with flat surface is dipped in each of the chocolate samples in a vertical up and down motion (density of both samples is 1300 kg/m3).

(Sample A: with additive, sample B: without additive):
