Need Training Materials for Maintenance Hygiene
Hello,
Do you have some presentation for maintenance team please?
I need to prepare a training related to the hygiene practices to be respected for the maintenance/engineering team and i have no idea :(
Any documents to share please?
Many thanks
We use the same presentation for GMPs and hygiene for all employees - maintenance, facilities, office, production staff, etc. Is there a specific reason you need a different presentation for the maintenance / engineering team?
Hi,
a few things to think to add to your training :
- Workshop hygiene rules, for example different type of coats
- Swarf mats replacements (how often, responsibility etc)
- Equipment colour coding, for example different ECC in the workshops
- Tools sign in/out and responsibility
- Equipment cleaning responsibility after/before maintenance
- Contractors management (hand washing, PPE, GMP responsibility)
- Scheduling (Maintenance must be scheduled outside operating hours) - for example : if not possible then screens must be used.
;)
This has already been stated by @AtomicDancer to use the general GMP/Hygiene training that you provide to all your staff. I don't have an additional presentation that I use i break out the SOP's that correlate to maintenance activities including contractors and the specific foreign material controls that are applied to the maintenance department. Also the element of sanitation after maintenance. These are all an annual refresher training or initial hire training. I guess you could put them all into a slide deck, I just have found that maintenance staff generally just want to get stuff done and its easier to walk through the SOP's when on the floor and get a sign off that they are trained on it. Also provides more of an opportunity to show any real examples of issues or risks on the floor.

Hello,
Yes. The director asked me to prepare something special for maintenance.
I have something for all the employees but it seems not enough.
