Traceability Software

We are a small meat processing facility. Roughly 2 million pounds a year out the door. We do not slaughter, we bring in fresh pork and poultry and process it out, bacon, sausage etc. We are currently working on programming our own traceability software, but I feel like there will be alot of gaps by the time we are done. I have done a demo with a company called VistaTrac, but their system does a little more than what we currently need.. Ultimately, I am wanting to see if there is an already built system, that would suit our needs better, that we can purchase before continuing to implement our own system. Any suggestions? 

what does your business use for the ERP?  IS there an additional module you can purchase so they work together?     Ideally the sales and linked to the lots that are shipping somehow, so unless the software your talking about can do that, you'll still have to do the part manually

Kiptraq has some small supplier packages and is easy to use with barcodes and scanning.
