Technical issues

What's up with the site's forum section being down >50% of time? Also, a suggestion to improve "search bar" toggle. Google by default is annoying. Anyone else experience this? 

Hi there, we were experiencing regular database errors for a few month's, but we finally got to the bottom of it a month or so back, and since then it has been much improved.  I did notice it was down earlier this week, and today we had an issue, though there have been big outages with google services and that could have been the cause.  It's back up now obviously. Any outage is not a good experience for users, but I'm not sure >50% is correct.  If problems persist we'll get the devs to investigate again.  If the site goes down please email (team at ifsqn dot com) so that we can get an early heads up to get back online. 

Re the search bar, you don't like the default google, it's easy enough to switch how you want to search?
If I'm not understanding you right let me know.
