Anyone got any tips for cleaning a warehouse freezer floor? We have ended up with a layer of dirty ice on it, and we aren't able to thaw out, we need to be able to remove it without thawing out.

Hi AJL,

How about trying a Freezer Cleaner in a Floor Scrubber?

Kind regards,

Tony

We've used a metal scrapper (a large one) to scrape the floor before. Not a fun/easy process, but one that could work.

Manual scraping if you can't thaw it out

Depends on what the base floor is, however have used spot burning - basic flame thrower. Can be fun, just try not to burn the building down.

Wow... I'm imagining my H&S colleagues if I suggested a flame thrower...

Seriously though, isn't the easiest thing to defrost it?  Without damaging the floor, causing a fire or injuring someone?  Get in a freezer trailer or dawson freezer unit if needed to store stock.
