Dear All,

As I do not know the news in US if there is recognised food safety certification and which certification body is the most popular one there.
I think most of certificataion issued in Eurepean Countries and the exported countries. No issue raised from US side, isn't it? Can you advise for this topic?

Simon,

I mean all food safety standards/certifications.

NY
Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc.

They are UKAS Accredited for ISO 22000 and also offer HACCP Compliance Certification.

Food Safety Certification Standards in the USA I've heard of are FPA - Safe, SQF, AIB.

I'm trying my best to keep this thread alive for you NY. Perhaps someone who has a better idea can help you.

Regards,
Simon
Hi NY

I think the most popular standard in America is the American Institute of Bakers (AIB).

This has been going for years and I believe it is pretty tough.

Below is a link to their website:

Dear Narongchai.

I suspect yr initial post was a bit too wide in scope for a precise reply or else I misunderstood it (equally possible).
I presume your question referred to processors rather than, for example, a specialized synthetic product?
Regardless, the answer may depend on the product also, eg I was amazed at the non-bakery items in Franco's AIB link but I doubt they work with seafood. However some organizations I can think of will probably take on anything from ball bearings to baked beans.
I have an idea that in US the official bodies have a significant chunk of this query also however I would like to know if you had a specific product type originally in mind??
