Central Air Conditioners Problems

Dear Forum,
I have particular problem with Central AC in my factory. We are producer of Seasoning Powder, with a very high intense of powder / dust in the air. We tried to reduce it by using an exhaust fan for the room, and a dust collector for the machine. But the dust occurence still high. And the problems just getting worse when we produce products that using food colorants. The colorant dust were gathering on the blowing unit of Central AC (I assume the same thing also happen with non-colorant ingredients) and makes horrible stain on the blowing unit and the ceilings. Not mention the stain on the wall and the exhaust blower too, which makes a lot of inconviniences...
Does anyone in this forum has a problem using the Central AC? Or does anyone has expertise on that section? Can I have some kind advice please? It's really a big deal in my place... Thank you

We have a similar problem with the Ac vents and ceiling panels which are above the charcoal grills. The black ashes are deposited on the AC vents and ceilings in spite of having the exhaust hood in the grill unit. The ceilings get darkened as a result. We installed fresh air package unit in these areas.
The filters of these units are cleaned every month and may vary in depending upon the operation.
Even we change the few ceiling panels depending on the severity of the stain and clean every month.
What I would suggest is to check the usage of package unit and get expert (Engg.) advice.

Where did you put the fresh air installation? What kind of filters that you used?
Well, I guess the best thing that we can do is clean the vents and ceilings regularly. But the great part is, our ceilings is made from plywood, which will be putrefied if we constantly clean it by using water. We have another option to change the ceilings by using stainless steel so we can clean it regularly, but it takes high cost. And some room cant be cleaned everyday, because we have to move every materials from the room that may takes long time. I prefer to fix the circulation problems and increase the performance of Central AC. But I really dont have a clue... FYI, the vents itself startin to moldy right now... Its more than just a nightmare...T.T...

We have put the package unit near to the exhaust hood and use HEPA filters. I would suggest you to immediately call an AC consultant to visit your site and they will measure the CFM (volume of incoming and outgoing air) depending upon your area capacity and design the unit suitable to your work environment.
IMO, the dust accumulation in your site, in spite of having a dust accumulator, could be because inadequate CFM from the AC unit.
I hope you get over this problem at the earliest as this can pose serious health hazard for the workers.

Thank you so much for the input. Have you ever measure the CFM value? Or have you ever accompany the AC Consultant when measure it? All I know we need an anemometer to measure it. Do you have any other clue?

I do not know the technical details you are looking for as the work pertaining to the AC units are handled by our Engg. team and the AC consultants.As I have no technical expertise and therefore no clue. I just shared a similar problem we had in the past.
