Does anyone have info about epoxy coating for tank? Is it suitable for human consumption?

Carine, can you provide some more information.

- What do you store in the tank? At what temperature? For how long?
- What is the expoy coating - have you contacted the suppliers for information or a specification as to its suitability for contact with food?

Even with the above information you may need to determine what if anything can migrate into the food from the expoxy coating and ensure that the results are within the acceptable limits for your country and / or the country you supply your products to.

Carin please take this tip on board: You really need to be more specific with your question if you want an answer that is of any worth to you.

regards,
Simon
Dear SIMON,

What do you expect anyone can tell you about your tank? You have not told us what it is used for, the condition of the tank? the specification, the supplier? I'm afraid there is nothing of any use that I can tell you from the information you have provided.

Regards,
Simon.
Dear carine,

If yr question is - Are any epoxy coated units approved for sand filters ?, I am sure the answer is yes, with the type of criteria as suggested by Simon.

Try googling "sand filter tanks epoxy coated" and you will immediately see some commercial examples.
