Hello all,

We're producing aseptic packages. That's why we supply aseptic carton and extrusion it.

Is there any one know how can we understand that carton is suitable for aseptic packages or not?

And what's the difference between aseptic cardboard and normal cardboard? How can we control it at our quality departmant?

I know that carton using for only physical strenght.. Is there any important function of cardboards?

Thank you very much...

Is the cardboard you produce coated? Do you sterlize it in your process?

I'm not an expert but from what I can see the packaging has to be sterlized and obviously be sterlizable.

Simon

hi Simon,

We dont sterlize packages. We just supply cardboard, alu & PE and laminating them at extrusion process. We dont produce cardboards too.. We are only laminating layers...

Are you telling that sterliable property is imported for cartons which use for aseptic packages??

Isn't it sterilzed in filling machine already?

many thanks
The aseptic board needs to include PE on inside as food contact and to withstand sterilisation. The board needs to have sufficent flexibility that when it folds (coners etc) the board does not damage the foil/PE layer. If the board is too rigid the board will break and rupture the fod contact surfaces.
