Electronic HACCP Manager - SQF Compliant
Hey all,
Our company has been looking at the possibility of moving to an electronic HACCP management system in order to move away from tedious and daunting paperwork. As we will soon be SQF lv 3, can anybody inform me if there are any HACCP Management programs that are compliant to SQF3?
Thanks in advance for all your help,
Zach
Check out HACCP Manager Software by South Coast Business Solutions - www.scbs.net.au
It is an access based program focusing entirely around the SQF code. It was developed by a guy down in Australia and its a very robust program. Theres quite a learning curve to it and the initial implementation can be painful. He had a deal with US consultant to be his salesman and support up here, but the guy was an idiot. Darryl Guarino. I'd highly recommend the program, but not Darryl. Im pretty sure the developer is not using him any more. I'd be a better consultant to help with implementation of the program. Darryl over-sold the software to us, made a bunch of promises that in reality just werent possible to do with the program.
We have been using it for 2 years now and if anything, the work that Darryl did to help us get the program up and running, had actually set us back.
The software is much cheaper than anything else I was able to find and has been well worth it. The traceability part of the system is incredible if used correctly.

Dear TBK,
I presume lv = Level rather than intravenous
SQF references Codex/NACMCF for its HACCP content.
The HACCP component in level3 is probably = level 2, ie the quality add-on in Lv 3 is an SQF invention.
I have no doubt various systems exist to handle SQFLv3 "HACCP".
How well is a different question of course.

Take a look at http://www.safetychain.com
It supports most if not all of the GFSI certification schemes.
Hi Zack
We have software that will enable you to be compliant to SQF.
You can contact me through Post#2
Look forward to hearing from you.
I have used HACCP consulting services from Deibel and I am looking into http://www.deibellabs.com/eHACCP.html
It may not fit all of your needs, but it appears to be a solid program, at least on the surface.
