Are vacuum packing machines safe to use?

Well pretty basic question, are they safe to be used on the long term. Or should you use them just from time to time?

To many variables in that question to give you a good answer.  Vacuum packaging is very common on may products.  It can increase risk, but  properly done is safe and increases shelf life.  Will need more information to give you a more specific answer.
