Major NC "ISO 22000" - which clause is it against?

Dears,

An auditor while auditing a company producing  "Tomato paste" in glass jar  , he asked the auditee to open one tomato paste glass jar and he found fungal growth inside it  , he checks the expiry date and found that its still valid "will expire in 2016" and its kept in good storage condition, when he asked food safety team leader  about the problem he said "we have a problem in product sealing and  we are working to fix this problem"

The auditor raised a Major NC against ISO 22000 , so which clause the finding will be raised against it?

Thanks,

It is normally obligatory for the auditor to automatically provide the answer to yr query.

If such was not done, you should ask for it.

Basically your process  appears to be, knowingly, out of control.

A variety of NCs are possible, for example,  yr HACCP Plan is a likely candidate to be considered defective with respect to its documented details and/or its implementation.

HI!

You must have to correct this NC to audit ^(

And as for me, you can't produce the products have not fix the NC yet, so you can produce but you can't sell it :))

The company problem is with sealing/seaming. That means your CCPs are to be updated. normally seaming/sealing should be a CCP in such industries.
