Winery Bottling Glass Registry

Hi All!

I'm really excited to have found this forum.  It has been really helpful.  Thank you to all for the support and responses to questions.

My question is in reference to the glass registry log and audit.  I walked into this facility and it just seemed it was thrown quickly together.  So, I'm trying to re-vise this process.  I have read other topics on this but I feel that bottling is unique to other food mfg processes.  Bottling is practically a closed system.  So, how deep would you go?  Do you just stick with the bottling floor and add items like buttons on control panels and tool-less handles?  Would you expand to the docks and into the warehouse and offices?

Thanks in advance for all suggestions...

I would suggest a risk analysis to determine how in depth you need to be. It may be that at first glance you have very few risk points, but if you go out on the floor and really look at the process, you may find there are more risk point that originally thought.
