Electronic Records Control & Access 3.3.1

We recently switched to electronic scoresheets (Excel) from hard copy records for our product inspection scoresheets.  Only standard entry can be performed on the electronic sheets.  Set up and coding are password protected.  They records are backed up daily. This will be enumerated in our document control policy.  Do we need to take any steps with the electronic records that may differ from hard copy?

AFAIK, the requirements for hard copy records apply to electronic ones as well.

From the Interpretation Guide:

Electronic records need to be similarly controlled, and therefore a documented system needs to be in
place to authorise access and amending of these systems. Electronic documents must be suitably
backed up to prevent loss. Consideration should be given to testing electronic retrieval systems, and
records of these tests should be retained.
