Hello, my name is Maria Chavez, I am the new Q.A at a cheese plant I been working for almost 5 years, I am really scared as I know this is a job with a lot of responsibilities.  as my food safety inspection has been schedule and I been working on creating new programs that our company did not have before, hoping to get a high score, and prove myself I am capable of doing this job even with no acknowledge or school or any education before beside, I graduated from high school and attended only the senior year, as I moved from a different country, I had to learn in 1 year a new language; English as Spanish is my first language I have to admit it has been quite f experience but I hope to show to my family that everything is possible if we put in effort, love, dedication and pride for our work.

Welcome Maria.

May I be so bold as to suggest you avail yourself the services of a consultant to help  you not only get prepared for your upcoming inspection but also to maintain your standards throughout the years.

Welcome Maria, it can be a daunting task.  Hopefully you have the support of your management team and peers within your business who will be supporting you with the project.  You of course have access to many experts here at the IFSQN who have been through the same situation and have lot's of experience to share.

Feel free to ask questions.

Regards,
Simon

Hi Maria,

I'm sure there are quite a few members with dairy experience including myself. Feel free to post on the forums if you need assistance.

Kind regards,
