Distribution Statements

Hi Everyone, 

Looking for some guidance on a distribution statement.  For a statement like "Imported Exclusively by" would the statement be talking about the product itself meaning the composition or could it also mean the brand of the product along with the product itself?

If a product is being imported under a certain brand name that is a private label for the importer, but the composition of the product is the same as the rest of the products the manufacturer produces by putting a distribution statement on the label that reads "Imported Exclusively by" would that statement be accurate or is the distribution statement strictly about the product composition?
