Sesame Oil in supermarket products

Morning all,

I work in a nut and sesame seed site (this includes the canteen and warehouse) on a recent audit we got a non conformance for "Uncle Bens Egg Fried Rice" which we now know contains sesame oil. Its a product that wouldn't flag up "Sesame Oil" - I know I've probably overlooked it.

I hunted the aisles of my local supermarket for unusual items which contain sesame oil - does anyone else have examples?

Thanks

Hi Rebecca,

Not too sure about scope of  UK Supermarket items -

Thanks Charles,

We do not allow cosmetic products on site so I think I've covered this sector of the supermarket. Thank you for your response.

Hello Rebecca,

Sweet and sour sauce also contains sesame oils. Houmous is common product contains sesame paste. Its always good to see the ingredient declaration rather than product name.

Thx

Sae
