Water Sampling Risk Assessment to comply with Clause 4.5.1
Dear All,
Clause 4.5.1 of the Food Safety Standard v7 states that sampling point of water and frequency of sampling etc must be carried out according to the risk.
Has anybody done a risk assessment for water sampling? Any template to use?

(esp see pg 9/15 and table 2 at end)
it depends on the set-up of course but one interpretation of above is to develop a plan via sampling/evaluating the acceptability of filtered/chlorinated main input for detailed quality/safety parameters/chlorination level and all sub-divisions from main input into different areas to further confirm uniform chlorination and within acceptable ppm range. This depends on appropriate filtering/balanced flow distribution design/ relative pipe sizes.
Then rotate the various points on the sub-divisions using a monthly sampling plan with some "risk-based" prioritisation to RTE / non-RTE areas.
