Traps for Rodents
Hello,
I wanted to know if there is any standard concerning the ubication of rodent traps inside a beverage factory.
Many thanks.
Dear Juan,
Could you please explain what you mean with "ubication"?
Standards may depend on certification schedules, customer demands, own company policies and local legislation.
Many thanks,

Location in the plant facility
Typically traps are placed on each side of potential entry points (mandoors and roll up doors leading outside). Your pest control provider should help you identify effective locations for traps and you need to maintain a map of where all the pest traps are, as well as explicit training for personnel who monitor/maintain the traps to prevent contamination when removing dead rodents or traps.
Traps should not be placed where they pose a contamination risk, e.g on a catwalk over production areas or underneath processing equipment during production. Special circumstances may require this if you have an infestation, in which case you want to be able to explain how you prevent contamination of your product from the traps.
Thank you very much
Dear Juan,
You're welcome. Thanks for your clarification on the term "ubication".
If you are setting up your pest control system, please consider toxic-free rodent traps. By doing so, you will build a modern system which complies with many standards. To read more about it, see the following links:

Hi Juan,
some years ago we've been apply procedures from the AIB Standard in a beverage factory in Italy.
This kind of certification explain very well how you have to design the pest management in the factory,
for the second and the first line of the devices outside the walls and also inside.
I don't know about the news from the last review of that but may be You should find some information here
