Are there any food safety hazards related to tannins?

hello!

 

I need to add tannins to my HACCP hazards assessment however I have little knowledge if this ingredient and if its risks to food safety. does anyone have an idea of the chemical, physical, biological and allergenic hazards associated with this ingredient?
