Weight compliance of a finished product
Hi all: im a little of a newbie here, im trying to figure how to get my product sampling and inspection program to include the right way to check for the weights of a finish product, i read the 133 handbook but im still confused, it said that i have around 9% of tolerance (depending of what the table said of course) but my questions are:
is this the maximum tolerance that i can go under my target weight? (meaning my label weight)
We take 10 samples every time, how do you guys handle the situation if in a sample of 10 a couple are underweight? do you immediately put them on hold until the last good check?
If any one can share a policy in to how to handle this it would be greatly appreciated.
Have you seen this? Not sure if it's helpful

I would weigh another 10 packages. If they are all good, verify with 10 more then you're done. (total of 30)
If 1 or more of the second ten is underweight, I would stop running and put all product since last good check on hold. Then figure out what the problem is prior to running anymore through or you'll just end up with more on hold
