Jar collapsing/denting after induction sealing

Hello Friends,

Just need help to solve this mystery.

My company packs Spirulina powder in 1.0kg jars. After filling there is around 20% of vacant space in jar.

Due to Spirulina being fine powder we were receiving lots of customer complaints of powder leaking out of lids etc.

To eliminate this issue we started induction sealing jars.

Goods news, customer complaints dropped significantly but bad news my Spirulina jars  started collapsing /sucked inwards.

Has anyone experienced this type of issue and know how to resolve it.

I really want to keep induction sealing jars.

Thanks in advance.

What type of material are the jars made of?

Heat, pressure, and time pressure are the main variables you'll want to play around with.

I would check into the variables like FoodSafetyPlanet mentioned but also talk to your bottle manufacturer. They may be able to help you as well. We use induction sealing jars and I know that if there can be issues if they sit under the sealer for to long. Also our jars with more head space, we do use a thicker/stronger container.
