Do bathroom hand wash sinks need to be hands free?
For SQF, handwash sinks must be hands-free is in high-risk areas. Does this apply to hand sinks in bathrooms or is it more for handwash sinks in production areas?

Production areas.

From the Gudance -
Employee restrooms shall be properly equipped with hand wash facilities (refer 11.3.2). Hands-free taps are
preferred, particularly in high risk facilities and include those than can be operated by foot, knee or elbow or
turned on/off via electronic sensing devices.
For BRC it's anywhere and everywhere, IMO so should it be in SQF too.
In some locations it can be a Regulatory Issue.
I agree with Charles and it was so many times in doing an SQF Audit a stumbling block, but it is what it is.
With that said, most companies whether high or low risk have hands free sinks in their toilet rools and at the same time have exit doors that need to be pushed open with a hand.... go figure!
