HI everyone, there is a factory that produces producing bakery Buns for the whole market in Pakistan. We are going to Halal certification along with supplier quality management system (it is combination of BRC, FSSC 22000, IFS & SQF) Your valuable input has been requested as below queries ...

 
1- In the HACCP manual, we can describe/ address the Halal Hazard (H)?
2- What method will be used for the hazard identification and risk assessment and decision tree..
3- And we are a little bit confused, OPRP and CCP identification in RAW material and process steps.  
 
 As per attached my sheet please guide, 

 

*** Which type documents are required to “Values of > 14 rating of effectiveness will be controlled by the oPRP’s”

 

- For process steps frequently monetizing, and on process verification QA/QC on a daily basis.

 

*** Which type documents are required to “Values of < 14 rating of effectiveness will be controlled by the HACCP plan”

It sounds like you are somewhat unfamiliar with HACCP and Food Safety.

 

I know nothing about Halal Certification although I anticipate that HACCP is used to assure the Food Safety element. Other posters on this Forum will no doubt be better able to advise.

 

The only FS/HACCP Standards afaik which use OPRP are FSSC22000 (GFSI recognised) and iso22000 (not recognised by GFSI)

I anticipate CCP/OPRP methodology in yr attachment is appropriate to  iso-haccp as utilised in iso22000/fsssc22000.

 

Pls study the Excel file as contained in sub-link within the above linked Post.

 

Pls refer to Sheets 1 and 4 of the Excel file.

 

I anticipate that your "14" is equivalent to my "18" (see Columns O-X of Excel sheet 1) (Note that arrow heads are reversed in your scheme, reason unknown)

 

The Number "18" is arbitrary (eg intuitively risk-based) and I anticipate that your "14" has been analogously chosen.

 

Note that the Excel file referred above was based on ISO22000:2005. This version has now been superceded by iso22000:2018

 

The CCP/OPRP decision methodology in above Excel would now be replaced by an approach such as the one attached in this Post -

Above your shred line, file is v informative and good. The concern is still stand that after calculation of a-g Control Measure Assessment Data and found HACCP Plan-18-21 & OPRP <18.

The excel file is related to fssc22000.

 

Regret that I don't personally use this Standard so do not have any additional documentation. The objective of the Excel was to demonstrate the implementation of a response to the haccp portion of the Standard.

 

The haccp "Plan" and following steps need to be correlated with the appropriate Clauses in the current version of the Standard. The (updated) Excel file should cover Clauses 8.5.2.4.(1 and 2) so responding to Clause 8.5.3 et seq is the next logical chain.

should  be Y/Y/- / -  OR   Y/N/Y/N
 
What about OPRP   ....
 
Is this classifies on the risk matrix ?
