Refresher Job Training Verification
Hi all, I was just wondering for refresher training on cleaning or job tasks- does the supervisor have to reverify that the employee is properly conducting the tasks again? For in class training- it is easy to have tests and such. Reviewing each job task every year could be a bit cumbersome.

Do you review your SOP's on an annual basis? You could include your team in the SOP review and use that as a refresher training. Proficiency testing is helpful, and you could also reach out to your sanitation chemical supplier, they usually conduct trainings free of cost. Verification can be absence of issues...not the best but a start?
I would think you could use your internal audits to help you verify and validate your sanitation programs. We perform our internal audits on all of of SOP/SSOP quarterly and I use them for our verifications and our environmental monitoring program for our validations. We also do a training needs assessment on all of the employees every year to gauge where i need to focus our refresher training on each individual employee.
We find that an operational review works great - it's random for repeats and allways for people that require actual re-training due to errors, etc.
