Seafood processing FSC 9 and 20…module 9 and 11
Hey everyone we are a seafood processor of crab cakes. we use to fall under module 11 for FSC 9 and 20.
with seafood moving to module 9 do i need to switch as well. seemingly the only difference between module 9 and 11 is the live animal treatment, slaughter, and transport.
do i need to implement module 9 and ask for exemptions for module 9 or can i still document under module 11 only as we are also in the FSC 20 (recipe meals manufacturing).

Hi @blairweir by using my SQF auditor hat, since you are falling under FSC 9 and 20, your new SQF program should include module 2 (AP), Module 2(FM), Module 9 and Module 11. The smarter way would be keep your module 11 as the primary program, and link the relevant section of module 11 to your module 9. You don't have to write two program. Most of the requirements of 9 and 11 are almost similar.
