Surveillance Audit - FSSC 22000 v5

Hi, 

1. What are the scheme guidelines for surveillance audit due this year, for organization certified to FSSC 22000 v5 ? Will they be audited for v5 or v5.1 ?

2. Will the certificate status become invalid if companies do not migrated to v5.1 by 31 March 2022 ?

As far as i know, from April 2021 ,organisations are now being audited against FSSC 22000 v 5.1 requirements. Find attached document with upgrade requirements.

The document does not mention in explicit on the surveillance audit and validity of v5 certificate after March 2022.

We confirm we are being audited against FSSC v5.1 for our surveillance audit being held next week.

Depending upon when your audit actually is and which certification body you are with the version should be confirmed on your audit plan sent out prior to your audit.

Your organisation has to be audited against FSSC v5.1, and it is to happen at the latest on 31 March 2022.

A new v5.1 certificate, that is valid for the remainder of your certification cycle, will be issued.
