Hi
According to BRC issue 9, any new equipment must have :
- Equipment Specification Check list
- Equipment/Machinery Movement/Commissioning Sheet
After implementing BRC issue 9 no equipment was purchased. Is it necessary to fill these forms for old equipment those are in production?
Microbial environmental air standard & dairy worker hand swab analysis method with standard & dairy equipment like pasteuriser, valve etc swab
Steel-it epoxy paint for equipment product-contact surfaces
Is 316 stainless steel necessary as opposed to 304 stainless steel for food-contact surfaces on equipment?

Hi,
No, you need not to do it for old equipment.
Once you update it in your procedure, start doing it for new incoming equipment's.

The BRC Interpretation Guide specifically states that the requirement only applies to "new" equipment- meaning equipment newly purchased (whether brand-new or new-to-you) or significantly modified.
