What Is Required for BRC Prerequisite Training?

Hi all,

I'm doing preparation work for BRC in the next couple of months, the site was not certified for a year so there is quite a lot of work to do. What is the expectation in training prerequisites for all the staff? Is just a basic training so people are aware of what is a prerequisite and what are these enough?

thanks

Hi Pali,

It is essential for BRC staff to receive comprehensive training for each procedure that aligns with their specific responsibilities. For instance, if an employee in the Quality Control (QC) department is tasked with environmental testing, it is imperative that they possess training sign-off records for environmental testing, listeria testing, line checks, and all other pertinent procedures. Furthermore, a training matrix should be maintained to accurately reflect the training requirements for each staff member..
