Bird Control - How effective are light repellents?

Has anyone had any experience with strobe lights to repel birds?
We have problems with sparrows coming into the warehouses. We can´t close the doors because there are forklifts coming in and out of them all day, which is also one of the reasons why we believe using plastic curtains is too expensive. (We´d have to change them about every 3 weeks.)
Please help!

We too have the same problem in the past, later we installed pvc strip air curtains it's not much expensive & no need to change every 3 weeks, almost i can see since 2 years nothing had happen cleaning and maintenance required up to some extent, i can see sparrow rarely monthly or quarterly once a time and easily can be removed by any 1 or 2 workers, for this we can't control.

Please look for PVC Strip Air Curtain...

I dont see strobe light being that efective unless you are dealing with nocturnals like bats .. air curtains or sound (distress) will do the trick _ even some exclusion netting
