List of Global Food Safety Certification Programs

A good starting point would be to check out GFSI at http://www.mygfsi.co...ed-schemes.html. That will show you internally recognised schemes for food safety.

 

The main ISO standard associated with food safety are ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 (but this is more quality than food safety)

 

Each major retailer will also have their own version of what they want their suppliers (food manufactures/growers/brokers etc) to comply with. Off the top of my head these include McDonalds, Aldi, Costco, Warmart, Coles, Woolworths, Spotless, Freshcare, Organic Farmers.

 

Then on top of all of that there is the food laws for each country which form the basis of all compliance.

Can somebody please give me a list of all food safety certification programs currently used globally such as ISO...etc??
