London - A Kent student found a steel bolt in a supermarket ready-made meal that was described as "healthy".
Adam Derwin, 17, of Orpington, was eating a Healthy Living chicken lasagne from the supermarket Tesco when he bit into the 3/4 inches bolt.
His 37-year-old mother, Deborah, told the newspaper The Mirror: "He felt something hard as he chewed his dinner and spat it out straight away.
"He thought it was bone, but we were all shocked when we saw it was a large silver bolt."
The supermarket giant has apologised for the unfortunate incident and has asked Derwin to send back the bolt so it can investigate.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "We take food safety very seriously. We're mystified as to how this happened."

This might have a way to explain by having a nuts and bolts checklist or any removable parts checklist as BRC v6 clause 4.7.2 stands. Does anybody have a checklist sample for this?
It's not that complicated. Conduct a risk assessment and put the proper controls in place. The checklist will be different at each location.
