Bakery BRC Requirements

Hi 

This is Kadri Muzammil from Saudi Arabia based in Riyadh. I worked in Sales and Marketing of Bakery Ingredients for a period of 15 years.

Recently i change my job from Sales and Marketing to Supply chain in one of the new upcoming industrial bakery in Riyadh KSA.

 

I am keen to know about BRC requirement in Bakery Industry mainly in Supply Chain.

Hi kdmest,

 

Afaik, BRC do not issue Food Safety Standards for individual industries.

 

If you are referring to the BRC Global Food Standard, the Supply Chain could be relevant to certain sections of the Standard such as those involving Raw material risk assessment, Supplier Approval and Economic Fraud.

 

The Standard above, and various other related BRC Standards such as Storage&Distribution are detailed/freely downloadable from BRC website.
