Good day everyone,

First of all thanks for reading my topic and helping me out . You guys are awesome!

Can someone please help me out with BRC v-7 clause 1.2.2 -'' The sites senior management shall ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities (Job Descriptions detailing responsibilities ?). Where documented work instructions exist for activities undertaken-( Like job sheets etc, But can someone please explain this part of the clause and maybe give examples of documented work instruction) The relevant employee shall have access to these and be able to demonstrate that work is carried out in accordance with the instructions. ( Please explain this part as well- do we have to have any documented procedure where we tick boxes to confirm that work is carried out in accordance with the instructions.)

We are a confectionery company and are preparing for BRC audit.

Everyone's input is greatly appreciated

Hello Goodgoing, see my humble advice below in red.

Good day everyone,

Good idea, that's what we use.

Where documented work instructions exist for activities undertaken-( Like job sheets etc, But can someone please explain this part of the clause and maybe give examples of documented work instruction)

We have made CCP instructions for the machines we've found to be CCP spots. Each employee sign the instruction for the CCP machine they work with. The instructions are also used when training, both new personnel and as refresher-training.

The relevant employee shall have access to these and be able to demonstrate that work is carried out in accordance with the instructions. ( Please explain this part as well- do we have to have any documented procedure where we tick boxes to confirm that work is carried out in accordance with the instructions.)

That's what we do. We have monthly checks in production areas with open food products (basically, all our production areas). Part of these checks is also to make sure that CCP operators know how to do the control checks and follow the instructions correctly. (We've found both minor inaccuracies in the instructions as well as operators not doing the checks correctly.)

Good luck with your audit, ours is next week!  :headhurts:
