Color-Coded Utensils

We have to use color-coded utensils and brooms in our facility (raw dough manufacturing), and I'm wondering if anyone knows if we need our wet mop handles to be color-coded if we change the mop head after every use?

I would....it is safer to make an across the board process without adding exemptions. Theoretically the raw handle could be contaminated with ecoli and spread contamination throughout, but there is no actual requirement for this that i know of

really has nothing to do with whether you change the mop head or not. Everything else having a uniform color coding would require the mops to have the same.

Broom touches same area as the mop. Why would there be a foreseen risk with broom and not with the mop?obviously you colorcoded for a reason.

Why do you use color code for your brush in the 1st place?  If the same reason applies, then I suggest you do the same for mops.  Then if you have your mop head as single use only (once you use, place in appropriate container, dispose) then I see no problem with that one.
