Started by Altermanm, Jun 01 2020 02:18 PM
Hello,
Our Marketing department is looking into exporting our product to a coffee shop chain in US.The product won't be sold to the customers at retail.
The coffee shop will use it as an ingredient in the drinks they sell.
Question: can we export our product with the Canadian retail label to US for this purpose?
Thank you!

There is a chance that FDA will inspect your label at the border. Perhaps if you add a sticker to the package to state that it is not for retail sale and also include that on the customs paperwork, you may be all right? You can check with FDA- seewww.fda.gov for the office that would handle your point of entry.
