Hi all, I need some guidance on how to create a vertical validation sheet for laboratory analysts. I need to validate the laboratory analyst on how to conduct analysis without having an SOP next to them. Need some kind of checklist for this. Thanks for your help.

Typically you could do this by just having the steps from the procedure in one column and in the next column a checkbox if they followed it per the SOP or if there some deviations. Your lead or yourself I assume would carry out the evaluation

Column 1

Step 1.

Step 2.

Step 3.

etc.

Column 2

( ) No steps missed; full comprehension

( ) most steps covered but minor gap in comprehension

( ) Missed critical step with some comprehension

( ) No comprehension on step

Thank you for the quick response!  Yes I will be carrying out the evaluation. This will be very helpful.
