Hi all, I'm currently looking to purchase quite a number of polo shirts with no sewn on buttons for staff in the high hygiene area. I would appreciate it if you can give me suppliers where I can buy them hopefully for less than £10 each. Many thanks

this place has "chef shirts"  more like a hospital scrub but no buttons or snaps

There are a few buttonless polos around, but they seem to be relatively rare and quite expensive (found a lovely one by Prada, if you're looking to spend £750 per shirt :ejut:). There are some with zips instead of buttons, but the pull tag on the zip potentially presents the same FB hazard as buttons...

Was going to suggest bakers shirts, but I see that they're the same thing as Scampi's chef shirts.

No buttons, internal pocket, easy to find for under £10, should be ideal:

Hey There!

I love this topic, we pride ourselves in comfortable yet food safety compliant swag for our staff to wear, so we try to think out of the box a little bit because your "normal" brands are just not super good looking... Love branding everything just to make it our own. Anyway I'll give you a few options:

Red Kap: They have short sleeve and long sleeves both with snaps (and you guessed it, pocketless!). Would work absolutely great as a smock or uniform top :) They are a pretty heavy cotton blend so depending on your work environment it could get just a little bit hot.

Nike: Love me some golf polos, they have super strong steady snaps that are basically impossible to rip off these shirts. Not to mention the chic look they provide.

Express: Maybe the shirt is more to make your sales rep look great and compliant, with a simple risk assessment on how that zipper won't come off, this polo provides a great food safe look for staff.

Butgachi: Maybe thinking a little golfier lighter, super nice to wear under a sport coat. This is a super cute zippered polo with light weight materials, does show sweat a little easier than you would like.

I hope this helps :) or at least give you some ideas of some more fashionable options out there.

I had to edit my post to add, make sure that it is compliant with OSHA regulations and suitable for the work performed. :) Small disclaimer.

Cheers,

We used to get these https://www.bestwork...olo-shirt.html

We are a high hygiene cardboard packaging manufacturer and never had any problems with them. Changed to a colour not available in that particular top now though but still use the same supplier.
