Measuring the Effectiveness of Elements of the SQF system?

How is something like this accomplished?

 

Documenting the methods, responsibility, and criteria for ensuring the effectiveness of all applicable elements of the SQF program.

Create the SOP and then verify/validate the process.  There is a ton of information in the forums on this.  I would dig around a bit.  You can start here.

Track your deviations and non compliances 

 

If you have repeated issues, then the program isn't effective as written. If you do not have repeated issues, and your internal audit shows that the programs meet the code expectations, then your program is effective

 

You may also want to ensure that you are reassessing the entire program throughout the year---lots of folks only do the internal audit elements and call it good---but a large chunk of every program is outside of those elements
