Reducing Incubation Time for Yeast Mold Testing
Started by Juna, Sep 03 2024 03:23 AM
Hi,
Conventional method for YM takes 5days incubated at 25°C. We validate reduce the incubation days 3days incubated at 22.5°C product with High aw (water activity level). Base on result no significant different .
Asking if I skip out steps or method during validation.
Thank you

Have you looked into rapid yeast/mold petrifilm? Its incubation time is only 48 hrs @ 25C.
Also, there is compact dry method which requires 3 days of incubation.
