Pest Control - Positive Air Flow Criteria

There two important aspects in pest control -
1) Having a positive air flow.
2) Having an air curtain system with a specific flow.

We are already having such system in place but are not sure as to what are the standard value/recommended value of each of the above two.
Is there any specific standard existing which you know of?If yes can you share that?

Regards

I understand the importance of proofing by way of automatic doors, strip curtains; chain screens etc., but is positive air flow really necessary?

Simon,

Idealy the air pressure in any factory should be slightly positive.
This means that air is being pushed out of the factory.
If you have negative air pressure then you will be drawing air, in an uncontrolled manner, into the factory. This will mean pulling in dust, insects, etc..

Any extraction installed into a factory should be balanced out by a filtered air supply.
Thanks a lot for your input Yorky.

Do you know of any standards or recommendations on values for this? Or is it a case of the more positive the pressure internally the better?

Regards,
Simon
