Hi All,

We are in the process of launching 3 new vegan products in our facility. The facility is FSSC 22 000 certified.

Please advise if we would have to validate this claim?

We will be advertising a vegan claim on the packaging.

Your advise and input will be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Ashnee

There is some discussion on vegan claims in this recent thread that may provide some general useful background: https://www.ifsqn.co...vegan-controls/

Is there a specific regulatory definition of "vegan" in South Africa, and/or will you be applying for certification to use a logo such as the Vegan Society one?

Tread lightly in Vegan - suggest you seek an international vegan certification.
