Difference between expiration dates on shipping container and the food packages inside
Started by Silvialima, Aug 20 2020 03:44 PM
Good morning,
Is there any FDA rule that regulates the accuracy of information that is on food shipping containers (i.e. master boxes)? Specifically I want to know if a shipping container has an expiration date that is sooner than its inner packs, could it be considered misbranded? Any FDA source on this or response will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Silvia
