BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 7 – be the first to learn

Event Description

After a period of extensive consultation with retailers, food service companies, certification bodies and manufacturers, the new Issue of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety has been completed. Due for publication in January 2015, the new Standard will be audited against from July 2015.

In order to meet demand for information about the new Standard, the BRC technical team will be taking to the road to host a series of roadshows to provide an insight into the changes to the format and content of the Standard. This will include particular reference to the changes in response to issues and concerns within the food industry.

Hosted by key members of the technical team including David Brackston, Technical Director, and John Figgins, Technical Specialist, Food, these roadshows will include an overview of the changes in the following areas:

• Traceability
• Authenticity
• High risk/high care
• Labelling and change-overs
• Factored goods
• Modular approach
• Grading
• Earned recognition
• Audit style

The roadshows are aimed at members of the management team who would benefit from early insight into, and an understanding of, the changes that will need to be implemented from July 2015. Spaces at these events are strictly limited and will be allocated on a 'first come' basis.
