What is GFSI?
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is an industry-led collaboration that aims to advance food safety worldwide. GFSI recognises food safety certification programmes that meet its rigorous Benchmarking Requirements, helping to ensure trust and consistency across the global supply chain.
GFSI is managed by The Consumer Goods Forum, a global network of retailers and manufacturers. Companies can choose to become members and actively contribute to shaping food safety standards and practices around the world.
